Ochuko, who is an indigene of Oviore community in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, but resides in Warri, was said to have been in the illegal business for about a year before he was apprehended.
Police Officers attached to Abraka Police Division have arrested one Mr Felix Ochuko, for allegedly posing as a military officer to dispossess unsuspecting individuals of their luxury phones on the ground of suspecting them of internet fraud.

It was learnt that, having arrested and confiscated the phones of his victims on the allegation that they were internet fraudsters; he would take them to a saloon and ask them to shave their hair.

While shaving their hair, the suspect would excuse himself from the presence of the victims with a directive that on completion of the haircut, they should meet him up at a popular bar in Abraka to retrieve their phones only to abscond.
It was gathered that, after each fraudulent effort. Ochuko would steer clear of Abraka for a period of one month so that the dust could settle before returning to the town to perpetrate the same evil antics.

It was also learnt that luck ran out on him recently when he visited a POWA shop beside Abraka Main Market, under the guise of going to purchase three mobile phones for his boys worth N240, 000.
It was learnt that, after the transaction, he asked the sales boy to accompany him to a popular bank to make use of the ATM to pay him before absconding and his subsequent arrest by the police after the sales boy raised the alarm.

A police source, who confirmed the arrest, told our reporter that, unluckily for the suspect, as soon as the alarm was raised, a police patrol van was closed to the scene of the crime and they pursued and arrested him. He said that the policemen were able to recover the brand new phones, while other victims came to identify the suspect.
In his confessional statement, Ochuko told our reporter that it was family problem that led him into the illegal business.
