Due to the release of the
Dapchi schoolgirls on Wednesday, March 21, many issues have trailed the release
as Nigerians are asking how it was possible the terrorists entered Dapchi without
any military interference.
Other Nigerians are now
asking another question; why negotiate with terrorists.’
Speaking during the
Statehouse visit of the girls this morning, president Buhari shed more light on
why FG negotiated with Boko Haram.
”We entered into
negotiations solely to make sure that no single girl was hurt. This strategy
paid off as the girls have been released without any incidents”.
