"PMB’s 3 Year Performance Dwarfed PDP’s 16" – Shittu

Communications Minister, Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu, has challenged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that what the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has achieved within three years of rule is more than the 16 years reign of the PDP.
Shittu spoke in Abuja yesterday during the formal inauguration of the 774 Local Governments Area (LGA) coordinators of ‘I Stand With Buhari Movement”.

He said Nigeria should be proud that they have a president who do not for once steal money or get involved in corruption. “In the past you couldn’t beat your chest and make the same pledge but today we can say it without fear. I want to challenge the PDP that what Buhari has achieved in terms of practical achievements for Nigeria, the PDP government did not achieve it in 16 years of their been in government. “

Also speaking, the governor of Kano, His Excellency, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said he was very delighted to be part of the activation of the support group because it is another milestone in the history of the great party, APC.

The governor commended Buhari for fighting corruption, saying it is more difficult to fight corruption than fighting a war. He also praised the president efforts to recover looted funds and for comprehensively overthrowing the insurgency.

On his part, the leader/Founder ‘I Stand With Buhari’ Movement, Chief Ikeobasi Mokelu said time has come for Nigeria to step up in their silence and speak out for one Nigerian who has distinguished himself in terms of morality. He described Buhari as a man of honour, character and integrity while also assuring that the movement will ensure President Buhari get at least 30 million votes on their platform in 2019.

Mokelu who was the former Minister of communication further said the movement will galvanize Nigerians from all walks of life to awaken their patriotism to actively support the efforts of president Buhari in deepening and instilling moral governance across the nation.
