Buhari and the Blessings of June 12

Everyone was taking by surprise. Even the President before this time had probably not given it a thought, and if he had emerged as the President in the years before 2015, he may not have considered it. 

We were not hinted on May 29, during the usual Democracy Day speech, not as if the President had not known his intention then, yet timing is important when it comes to issues such as this. Buhari brought June 12 to the table, and a section of the country will definitely have a conversation with him, it doesn’t matter what they think, June 12 cannot be ignored.
