The Senator representing
Bayelsa East senatorial district, Ben Murray Bruce has stated that President
Muhammdu Buhari is only in office and not in power.
He explained that being in
power was different from being in office.
Bruce said that being in
power meant that a leader empowers his people while being in office is just a
title.
The lawmaker tweeted, “What
President @MBuhari fails to understand is that being in office is not the same
as being in power.
“A leader does not become a
leader because of his title. If he relies on his title, he is only in the
office.
“For a leader to be in
POWER, he must use his power to EMPOWER his people.”
