Former Playboy Model Found Dead In Apartment

Authorities are investigating the homicide of a former Playboy model who was found dead in her Philadelphia apartment on Wednesday night.
Christina Carlin-Kraft's body was found in the bedroom of her Lower Merion apartment at 9:15 p.m. when officers were called to do a welfare check on her, according to a joint statement from the Montgomery County District Attorney and the Lower Merion Township Police. According to the statement, authorities determined that her cause of death was "ligature strangulation."

Building surveillance footage showed a man following the 36-year-old model Tuesday night, reported ABC-affiliated WPVI. The man left the building by jumping off a balcony.

Kraft, who had recently moved into the building according to Philly.com, had also reported that several items were stolen from her home, per WPVI. Police executed a search warrant and found some of her jewellery and designer bags in a home in South Philadelphia, the outlet reports. At this time, authorities are unsure if the homicide and thefts are related, according to WPVI.

Kraft had previously modeled for David Yurman, Victoria's Secret, and Vanity Fair, according to her Model Mayhem profile.

No arrests have been made in the case, but in the press release authorities said that "there does not appear to be any current concern to residents in the area."
