Sergio Ramos of Spain is consoled during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Round of 16 match between Spain and Russia at Luzhniki Stadium on July 1, 2018 in Moscow, Russia.
Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos has claimed that his ‘conscience is really clear’ regarding his tackle on Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
The Spain captain is set to play in England for the first time since the Champions League final and could receive a hostile welcome from any Liverpool fans in the ground.
Ramos was accused of intentionally injuring Mohamed Salah during their Champions League final clash, with the Egyptian almost missing the World Cup.

Now, with him set to come up against England at Wembley, he has been talking about a potential hostile welcome.
Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid and Sadio Mane of Liverpool console Mohamed Salah of Liverpool as he leaves the pitch injured during the UEFA Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on May 26, 2018 in Kiev, Ukraine.
When asked about the atmosphere, Ramos was clearly not too bothered about what England or Liverpool fans had to say.

He has claimed that his ”conscience is really clear” because he has never wanted to hurt a colleague.

“I’m not really concerned about that [reaction],” he explained today as quoted by the Daily Mirror.

“I never wanted to hurt a colleague on the pitch, of course, so my conscience is really clear about what I did that night.
“I’m not going to be affected by that at all.

“I know the English fans will treat players as they deserve and I’m not worried about that in the slightest.”
