The Presidential candidate
of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has revealed that the
Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, approached him for the economic plan
after winning the governorship election.
Atiku stated this while
attending to questions from the business community on Wednesday.
The former Vice President,
however, said he doubts if the governor read the policy document.
According to him, “When
Fayemi won in Ekiti, he told me that he had no policy document and approached
for a policy document that I had worked on with Professor Aborishade, I handed
it over, I doubt he read it though.
“This document is mine, and
don’t forget that I am one of you.
“We used to have regular
interactive sessions with the Business community that was why we achieved 7%
growth rate, because we worked with the Business community.”
