The Independent National
Electoral Commission is set to announce President Muhammadu Buhari
president-elect, following the collation of results of the 23 February
election.
President Buhari crossed
the 15 million mark in votes scored in 36 states and the Federal Capital
Territory.

Supporters of President
Muhammadu Buhari in Niger State have described his victory at the polls as a
right step towards the continued development of the country.
The supporters made their
submission in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria in Minna on
Wednesday after the declaration of Buhari as the winner of the presidential
election held on Saturday, February 23.

"The party which
refused to sign the result sheet said the announcement of Buhari who sought
re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress by the Independent
National Electoral Commission was an abnormality."

give thanks to Almighty God Who has spared our lives to witness another victory
for Nigerian democracy and victory for our party APC.

BREAKING: INEC declares
Buhari winner of 2019 election with 15,191, 847 votes
Friday Olokor, Abuja
President Muhammadu Buhari
was on Wednesday morning declared winner of the 2019 Presidential election,
having scored 15,191, 847 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
His closest rival, Alhaji
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 11,262,978 votes.
The chairman of the
Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, while
declaring Buhari winner put the total number of valid votes at 27,324, 583.
Also, while 1,289,607 votes
were rejected, the total of votes cast stood at 28,614,190.
