Popular Nigerian singer
David Adeleke aka Davido recently used his social media platform to drop some
words for people who have made a habit of showing their hatred for him because
of his wealthy background.
In a video shared on his
Instastory channel, the singer, who is still basking in the euphoria of his
latest project with top American singer Chris Brown, appreciated everyone from
fans to family members that have supported him.
He went on to disclose that
he has been in the Nigerian music industry for seven years and in all that
time, nobody has supported him. According to him, it is only hate that comes
his way.
The Blow My Mind crooner
added that the negative energy has been coming his way all because of the
wealthy status of his father.
"I have been in this
industry for seven years and nobody supports me. From morning till night, it is
just hate," he said.
Davido noted that it is not
his fault that he comes from a rich family and stressed that he works hard to
also make his own money.
