It will be recalled that in the wake of the week, the League of Registered Political Parties in the State had attacked the former Lawmaker and PDP Governorship candidate in the last election, saying that he had lost relevance in the political arena in the state.
The Ogun State Chapter of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has condemned the recent attack on former Member of the House of Assembly, Senator Buruji Kashamu as an expired politician.

But IPAC in a rejoinder signed by its Chairman, Asiwaju Abdul-Lateef Adedamola insisted that attack on Kashamu was due to the League’s deliberate intellectual mischief, describing the argument as “wetery and lack scholarship”.

Abdul-Lateef expressed suspicion that the League was sponsored by a group of political godfathers and miscreants who are Kashamu’s strong enemies.

He stressed “Their faulty argument that Kashamu has lost relevance in the political sphere in Ogun is unjustifiable and watery- they have only played the tune of their godfathers/paymasters which has exposed their lack of good sense of Judgement.”

“We are not oblivious of the apparent fact that the league is being sponsored by some political miscreants whose parties were de-registered by INEC and some money bags who are not comfortable with the rising political profile of Sen. Kashamu”.

He added “IPAC’s philosophy is that a league of political parties ought to be unbias and unyielding to directives from political cabals, godfathers or others as it is Independent to any political leader and unbending towards a political or selected party (ies).”

Expressing disappointment, the Chairman said IPAC the harsh and damaging article only tried to attack the personality of Kasuamu but ended up having no scholarship and justifiable claims, saying “Only based on flimsy assumptions”.

The re-join in part” IPAC being the only recognised umbrella of political parties is compelled to write a rejoinder to expose the devilish mission of this faceless body to the good people of Ogun state. League of political parties is a gathering of political cretins who have no credibility, they have no means of livelihood. These are group of “anywhere belle face” politicians with no integrity.”
