Mother Try To Poison Three Children, Stabbing Husband On Christmas Day

Murder Suspect Connie Villa
An Arizona woman has been accused of killing her daughter on Christmas Day, trying to poison her three other children and stabbing her former husband.
Connie Villa, 35, was arrested on Sunday, said police in Casa Grande, a small town between Phoenix and Tucson.
She faces charges of one count of first-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder.
Villa’s former husband called 911 after he was stabbed when he went to the woman's home.
Police rushing to the scene found the body of 13-year-old Aniarael Macias.

Investigators believe the girl was poisoned, though the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests are pending.
The three other children are in good condition and are now with their father's family.
CBS affiliate KPHO reported that medical authorities found traces of opiates in the children’s systems.
Villa had stab wounds, which police believe were self-inflicted.
