Ghanaian Iranian Supporter’s Head Chopped Off

According to the Nation, a man who was apparently drunk went on a stabbing spree yesterday, during the World Cup match between Nigeria and Iran.
The Nation reports that the man identified as Sunday Usman who hails from Edo State stabbed one Koffi, a Ghanaian who was supporting the Iranian team in Ilasan area of Lagos State.
According to report, they were viewing the match at a bar and Koffi was supporting the Iranian players, wishing they would beat the Super Eagles.

Usman was said to have warned him to stop insulting the Nigeria team but he turned a deaf ear.
An angry Usman then left the bar and went to fetch a cutlass which he used to cut Koffi in the head.
While some others scampered for safety, others disarmed Usman and beat him till he was powerless.

The victim was later rushed to a private hospital for medical attention.
The Nigeria vs Iran match had ended in a goalless draw.
Speaking after the match, coach Stephen Keshi of Nigeria blamed the Iranians defensive tactics for his team’s inability to score goals during the tie.
Meanwhile some fans of the super eagles who were not impressed with their performance during the match against Iran yesterday night took to twitter to share funny tweets.
