The fire reportedly started in the garage of the property but did not spread to other areas.
Local media and witnesses
posted photos on social media showing the 007 actor talking to members of the
fire department on the pavement outside his property.
NBCLA reporter Kenny Holmes
said there was heavy smoke rising above the house, which is on Broad Beach
Road.
Fire department dispatch
supervisor Michael Pittman said the fire started at 9.48pm.
Fifty firefighters
responded and had the blaze extinguished by 10.28pm, he told the LA Times.
The cause of the blaze has
not yet been revealed but no one was injured.
