Minaj generously paid for her older brother Jelani Maraj's wedding ceremony over
the weekend.
Singer reportedly splashed
out $30,000 for her sibling's nuptials to Jacqueline Robinson, which took place
in New York on Saturday.
Elated Nicki shared a
number of photos from her brother's big day on Instagram, including a sweet
snap of herself and Jelani hugging, adding the caption: "Jelani, I love u
more than you'll ever comprehend."
Posting another snap of
them together, she wrote: "I would cross the ocean for u. I would go &
bring u the moon. Promise u. For u I will. I love my brother so much man.
"Can't believe I cried
during his wedding and his first dance like a punk. May God bless him and his
union. Tonight has been one of my favorite nights of all time. I do anything to
see my brothers smile."
The 32-year-old shared a
number of other family photos with her 32.3 million Instagram followers,
including pictures with her mum, aunt and cousin.
"Me & Mommy @ my
big brother's wedding," Nicki captioned one snap.
An insider told the New
York Post's Page Six that Nicki arrived early for the wedding with seven
security guards, make-up artists, a photographer and a few friends.
"Nicki couldn't have
been sweeter, she looked really happy for her brother, and she didn't perform
or take the spotlight during the reception," the source said. "She seemed
to be making a point not to upstage the bride, saying it was her big day."
