The rain is not just
hitting those in the UK but it seems to have descended heavily in Ogun-state,
as the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has predicted that Nigeria
is likely to experience flooding due to the release of water from Cameroon’s
Lagdo dam.
Ogun state is not one of
the States likely to be affected by this prediction due to its proximity to
Cameroon but the late rain is likely to cause flooding.
The roads and streets in
some parts of Ogun state are in a terrible situation and the little rain so far
has revealed that the pot holes on the roads are holding more water than they
can bear.
Emmanuel Osodi according to
Naij gave us a peek into the appalling situation by providinge pictures.
