15 Killed By Armed Herdsmen

Confirming the attack, Governor Samuel Ortom appealed to both parties to be calm so they can settle whatever misunderstanding they had amicably.
About fifteen people have been killed by gunmen suspected to be herders in three villages of Logo local government areas of Benue state. The gunmen invaded Tse Akaa, Mba'abaji and Tse Orlalu all in Ugondo Mbanar District of Logo, Daily Trust reports.

The state commissioner of police, Bashir Makama, disclosed that six bodies were recovered from two of the affected communities.
He said the herders were relocating from the surroundings when trouble started between them and the villagers
Three people were killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Tse-Akaa village. 

According to locals, after the attack on Monday afternoon, the death toll rose to 15 in all the three villages of Tse Akaa, Mba'abaji and Tse-Orlalu. Speaking about the incident, the state coordinator of Myetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN), Garus Gololo, said trouble started between the herders and villagers after some Tiv speaking youths constituted hinderance to the cattle breeders who were only minding their business.
