An incident happened on
Wednesday evening in Muhoroni, Kenya where Ms Ojwang lived and worked.
The house help is on the
run after stabbing her employer, Ms Liz Ojwang (pictured) and her son Leone on
Wednesday evening after what is believed to be a child related dispute.
According to the father,
John Agolla Ojwang’, his daughter came home to find her son in bad state. She
confronted the house help, an incident that marked the beginning of their
wrangle.
The house help then went
ahead and stabbed both Liz and her son then locked them in the bedroom. She
afterwards spent the night in the living room with Liz’s niece, Cynthia .
Her whereabouts are still
unknown. However, the news of their death broke on Thursday evening. The bodies
have since been picked by the police and taken to Star Mortuary in Kisumu.
Before their death, Liz
worked as a Community Health Officer with an NGO in Muhoroni. She was a Diploma
Graduate in Community Health and Development of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga
University of Science and Technology (2016) and hails from Awelo village, North
Sakwa ward, Bondo Sub County in Siaya County.
