One Eniola Kayode, aka
Aliyu Mohammed, who was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission (EFCC) for forging a Facebook account, has been sentenced to
one year in jail.
The anti-graft agency made
the development public in a tweet on its handle, @officialEFCC, on Tuesday,
November 6.
Legit.ng notes that the
individual created the fake Facebook account to defraud innocent persons.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng
previously reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
said it had arrested one Felix Idowu for allegedly impersonating its acting
chairman, Ibrahim Magu.
In a statement, the
spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, said the suspect was a real
estate agent and graduate of political science.
Uwujaren said Idowu was
found with documents which had the forged signature of the EFCC boss, and would
be charged to court as soon as investigations were concluded.
