After a gruelling selection
process, 18 contestants have emerged as finalists of the Miss Nigeria
competition, with at least one representative of the 6 geo-political zones.
The finalists were selected
based on personality, impact and presentation. Meet the top 18 finalists from
the Miss Nigeria 2018 competition!
After a year of waiting,
the Miss Nigeria team have unveiled the 18 finalists for the 2018 edition of
the Miss Nigeria competition, at a brunch hosted by 7 Square, Lagos.
The brunch was attended by
notable celebrities such as Don Jazzy, Timi Dakolo, Laura Ikeji, Sandra Ikeji,
Steve Chuks, IK Osakiodua, Gideon Okeke and last year's Miss Nigeria winner,
Mildred Ehiguese.
After the brunch, the
finalists have also visited some other sponsors such as Zaron Cosmetics and The
Good Hair Limited.
This year's finalists were
carefully selected based on their personality, impact and presentation and the
team ensured that every geo-political zone in the country has at least one
representative in the running. However, out of this 18, the Viewer's Choice Top
12 will be chosen from the finalists with the highest amount of likes on the
Instagram page.
These likes which count as
votes will contribute 50% of the final scores for the Top 12 while the
technical judging will be the final 50%.
Without further ado, here
are the top 18 finalists for Miss Nigeria 2018!
