DSS Reportedly Quizzes Anambra Assembly Factional Speaker

Reports have it that the factional speaker of Anambra state house of assembly, Ikem Uzoezie, was allegedly quizzed by men of the Department of State Security (DSS) in the state. 
Uzoezie reportedly arrived at the Assembly complex when he was approached by men of the DSS who said he was needed in their office, The Sun report.

Going further, the news outlet reported that he allegedly drove with one of them in his car to their office, where he had a meeting with the state director of the security agency.
Sir Yusuf Isyaku, the DSS state boss who was reported to have confirmed the lawmaker’s presence at his office said they had a friendly discussion.

On his part, Uzoezie was reported to have said that he was not arrested by the DSS as speculated, but went for a meeting with the director and left the office after concluding his mission there.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that emerging reports have claimed that a lawmaker, Gabriel Onyewinfe, on Wednesday, December 5, defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance to the Peoples Democratic Party.

Onyewinfe is a member of the House of Representatives for Oyi/Anyamelum federal constituency of Anambra state.
