It was another rough weekend for Man United at Southampton.
Jose Mourinho’s men rallied from 2-down away at the Saints to earn one Premier League point.
That means Man United have only scored two points in successive league games against Crystal Palace and Southampton.
Goals from Stuart Armstrong and Cedric Soares put Southampton 2-up.
However strikes from Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera brought Man United level.
Man United run a live blog on their website for all Premier League matches.
During Saturday’s match against Southampton, club employees responsible for the blog posted an eye-catching tweet.
The tweet called for Jose Mourinho’s sacking. As revealed in the Times:
United’s match-day blog, which runs on the website and the club’s app, contained a tweet about Marcus Rashford from an account whose Twitter display name is “Mourinho can f*** off out of my club”.
The content of the tweet, which claimed that Rashford does not get the credit he deserves for his selfless runs, was positive, but the fact that the account’s name was derogatory about the manager is embarrassing for the club given recent performances and results.

The amount of class runs Rashford makes and doesn’t even seem to get even acknowledged is ridiculous #SOUMUN #MUFC

How did this happen?
Is this evidence that even some Man United employees are sick and tired of Mourinho?
The Times report that Man United have tried to explain away the tweet.
It’s alleged the Twitter user may have changed his name after realising the club had posted his update:
It is suspected that the account holder — who goes by the handle “@_swanny04_” — changed their display name to reflect his or her anger towards Mourinho after the draw with Southampton.
Either way, it’s not a good look for Man United, who return to action on Wednesday with a home match against Arsenal.
