Wike has urged Nigerians to
vote PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, if they want to revive the
country’s ailing economy.
The Governor of Rivers
State, Nyesom Wike, has stated that Nigeria won’t survive another four under
President Muhammadu Buhari.
Wike made the claim while
stating that another four years under Buhari would mean “countless deaths and
excessive suffering.”
He described the Buhari-led
administration as “directionless and dictatorial governance.”
The governor spoke during
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, campaign rally in Gokana Local Government Area
of the state on Tuesday.
He also urged Nigerians to
vote PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, if they want to revive the
country’s ailing economy.
Wike said: “We have the
opportunity to chart a new direction for the country. Another four years of
this failed All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government would mean
countless deaths and excessive suffering.
“Atiku will bring to bear
his experiences in job creation and administration; to transform the country
and help us recover from the failures of Buhari.”
Urging the people to always
seek freedom for the good of the country, Wike said all Nigerians should rise
to challenge Buhari’s dictatorship with their votes.
He said Nigerians should
end the road for the APC, as “there is no need for a failed leadership to
continue to destroy the foundation of the country.”
