US rapper, Soulja Boy has
reportedly been sentenced to 240 days in jail for violating his probation and
265 days of community service.
Reports say the rapper
would have been sentenced top two years, but the judge decided to be lenient
with him by giving him the minimal sentence. The rapper will start the sentence
right away.
The sentencing comes days
after thieves burglarized his San Fernando Valley home. The thieves managed to
make off with over $500,000 worth of jewellery and other items.
Soulja Boy
was convicted after police found weapons in his home which violated his
probation. The search warrant was given following claims that he kidnapped and
abused a woman he was dating.
