Senator Elisha Abbo’s Wife Declares Him Innocent

Senator Elisha Abbo, who is representing Adamawa north senatorial district on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, recently became the topic of discussion of many Nigerians after a video of him assaulting a lady at an adult toy shop surfaced on social media.

After the senator received backlash over his behaviour at the adult toy store, the 41-year-old senator's wife, Emily Eric, has come out to show support for her husband.

Eric took to her Facebook page to declare her husband innocent of all accusations laid against him. The woman expressed that Abbo is innocent of what people are saying about him assaulting a lady.

On the Facebook post, the loyal wife further stated that she stands with her husband, adding that they would always stand for the truth.

She wrote: “I stand with you babana. And we will always stand for truth. My husband is innocent of what people are saying against him.”

A video of an unidentified keke driver hitting a lady in Lagos went viral some months back. The young man was seen throwing slaps at the woman on the road during the disagreement. The keke driver received punishment for his crime immediately as a passerby attacked him with blows for beating the lady.
