The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has shared pictures showing how he transformed his palace into a colourful view.
According to the stylish king who recently unveiled Telu Towers, the concept behind the new look of the palace is to ensure all colours are represented.
He wrote:
“The Palace of the Great Emperor Telu1 Alashe Lori Orisha Akoko Arole Olodumare Akoko in Yorubaland and the whole wide world…. all colours must be represented, turn the underdeveloped to a mega city, watch-out for Iwo as a fast developing town to city and then to mega city #Iwo ni eleyi #Iwo lawa o
I love Iwo to death”.
He added that the decision to give the palace a new look better than what he met on ground is to ensure his subjects are proud of it.
“This is not how I met the palace but this is how I make it to be today….still trying my best to make it more better for my children (Iwo Sons and Daughters) to be proud of,” he added.
