24 Years Of Marriage: Dr Dre's Wife File For Divorce

Music mogul Dr Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, 55, married Nicole, 50, in 1996.

Music producer, Dr Dre and his wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, are set to divorce.

The couple who are blessed with two children. 

Nicole Young has filed for divorce from her rapper husband, citing irreconcilable differences.

Nicole Young is being represented by celebrity lawyer, Samantha Spector.

Their marriage ended without a prenuptial agreement and Dr Dre who is said to be worth almost a billion dollars will be required to support his estranged wife.

Part of his fortune comes from his founding of the Beats Electronics brand.

The rapper is also the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment, and was previously a co-owner of Death Row Records.

Nicole, who works as a lawyer, is said to be seeking spousal support.

Dr Dre and Nicole Young met in 1990 while she was still married to former NBA player Sedale Threatt.

Dr Dre had pencilled down a romantic letter to convince Nicole to leave the basket-baller and marry him.
