Police in Adamawa State have confirmed the kidnap of wife and son of a police man attached to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Witnesses
reported that the kidnappers stormed the residence of Sergeant Hammandikko
Nyako in Yolde Pate community on the outskirts of Yola on Monday night.
Sources
indicated that when the kidnappers could not find the police sergeant whom they
believed was in town, they whisked away
his wife and son at gun point.
