Twenty-nine years old Deveca Rose, of Wallington, a mother of four boys who lives in south London, was not asked to enter pleas to the charges and spoke only to confirm her name during a short hearing.
On Monday the mother was charged with
manslaughter and child abandonment after her four young sons died in a fire at
her home appeared at the Old Bailey.
The judge adjourned the plea
hearing to March 8 and set a provisional trial of up to four weeks from
September 2.
The trial will be heard at the Old
Bailey before Judge Mark Lucraft KC, who is the Recorder of London.
