Rita Ora to Model Madonna’s Clothes, Signs £500,000 Deal

Popstar Rita Ora has reportedly been signed up as the new face of Madonna s clothing range Material Girl.
Madonna's daughter Lourdes, who helps run the range, is thought to have set up the collaboration, which earned singer Rita a reported fee of £500,000.

"Lourdes has been a fan of Rita for a while and has been to many of her gigs," a source told The Sun.

"She persuaded her mum to see her. They met at the Met Ball last week and Madonna admired Rita's attitude so signed the idea off."

Unsurprisingly, Rita was delighted with the decision. "Rita jumped at the chance because she's such a fan of the Queen of Pop," the insider added.

"She also hopes it will help her crack the States in the same way she has the UK."

The 80s-inspired brand was launched in 2010. It is only sold in Macy's stores in the US and Canada but it is due to arrive in England in June.

Rita follows in the footsteps of Kelly Osbourne, Georgia May Jagger and Taylor Momsen, who are all previous models of the range.

This isn't Rita's first venture into modeling.   The best friend of model Cara Delevingne was signed to Next Models in 2012 and shortly after replaced Alexa Chung as the face of Superga.

Rita recently debuted her relationship with fellow music artist Calvin Harris. They were spotted arriving at a Daft Punk concert together hand in hand and on Thursday night they enjoyed a meal together in London.

Rita was every inch a blonde bombshell in a strapless, tight-fitting red dress that accentuated her womanly  physique. She paired the slinky number with matching red lips.

Scottish DJ Calvin had a protective arm around Rita as they faced the paparazzi outside of the restaurant.

Her new relationship came after a bitter split with Rob Kardashian earlier this year. The couple parted ways but shortly after became embroiled in a Twitter feud.

Rob then spoke out about gaining 40 pounds since their breakup. He wanted to turn over a new leaf and confessed that he had not been looking after himself. "I need to focus on me. That's all I wanna be about," he said.
