Surprised? most people don't know she has a school. The first set of hardworking students actress at Funke Akindele's Scene One School of Drama, a sub unit of Jenifa Foundation established in 2011 graduated yesterday 19th December, 2013.
During her keynote address, the accomplished thespian commended the graduates on their hard work and perseverance and having successfully completed their programs. She also urged them to believe in themselves, spread their wings and use the tools they have to sharpened and carve a niche for themselves in the entertainment industry. Present at the event include some of her friends and colleagues; Eniola Badmus, Tiwa Savage, Eldee, Uche Jombo, JJC, Segun Obe, Ariyike Akinbobola, Feyikemi Olayinka and Dammy Krane. She also presented prizes to best graduating students in major courses plus roles in her next flick, Everybody Loves Jenifa.
By the way, I learnt candidates can enrol with a minimum Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSCE) qualification, so if you're really looking to be an actress, you can apply.
