The Soul Train Award 2013

Monae Janelle presented rapper Wale who performed with Mayo. Rahim Devine presented best collaboration. Tyrese, Toni, and the Braxton family were all at the soul train award to give support to their sister Tamar who won 2 awards and also performed "Love and war album release".

Singer Ashanti presented the lifetime award to Keith Sweat, who also performed and did a duo with r&b singer Faith Evans, and thank the audience for making babies with his music.

Idris Elba the star of "Mandela's long walk to freedom" presented video of the year to Janelle Monae.  Gladys Knight, Eric Bennet, Warren G, performed in honour of Dionne Warrick lifetime award.
