Peaches Geldof 's Death: Police Investigate Drug Dealer

Police are hunting for a drug dealer who gave heroin to Peaches Geldof before she died.
Detectives launched a criminal inquiry into the supply of drugs after it emerged recent heroin use is "likely to have played a role" in her death last month.

No arrests have yet been made, a police spokesman said.
The investigation comes after an inquest heard Ms Geldof, a 25-year-old writer, model and TV presenter, was found by her husband Tom Cohen slumped across a bed at her home in Kent.
He found her in a spare bedroom after returning from his parents' house in London with his mother and 23-month-old son Astala.

The couple's other son, 11-month-old Phaedra, was found at the property in Wrotham, near Sevenoaks.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham, of Kent Police, told the inquest: "Forensic samples have been examined and the results concluded there was recent use of heroin.
"The levels identified were likely to have played a role in her death."
It is believed the final contact with Ms Geldof was at 7.45pm on April 6, the night before her body was found, when she spoke with a friend on the phone.
DCI Fotheringham added: "All of the friends and family who had contact with Peaches during this period described how she seemed her normal self.

"She was making plans for the future, including a family outing for her sons for the following weekend.
"There was no cause for concern."
There are parallels between Ms Geldof's death and that of her mother, Paula Yates, who died of an accidental heroin overdose in 2000, aged 41.
Hours before she died, Ms Geldof, the daughter of musician Sir Bob Geldof, posted a picture online showing the two of them together.

Her funeral was held at the same church as her mother's, with a host of celebrities including supermodel Kate Moss, ex-Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman and radio DJ Nick Grimshaw attending the service in Davington, near Faversham.
