The small Caribbean nation is said to be the Switzerland of the pacifics, as it is known to be a hub for money laundering and illicit financial activities.
Also named is Teodoro
Nguema Obiang Mangue son of Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo ruler of Equatorial
Guinea who also is allegedly a shady and corrupt individual.
Teodoro is rightly facing
charges ranging from corruption in France and also money laundering charges in
the US.
He had cut a deal with the
US Justice Department and had to forfeit $30-million Malibu mansion and some of
his assets.
Also on the list of
passport owners include is oil subsidy thief, Oluwaseun Ogunbambo, who has been
a fugitive from justice in Nigeria.
To get a St. Kitts and Nevis
passport, an investment of about $400,000 in real estate in the Caribbean
nation or contribute at least $250,000 to the St. Kitts and Nevis Sugar
Industry Diversification Foundation, according to the stipulations of the St.
Kitts and Nevis “Investment Program.”
This could mean that the
governor has buried ill-gotten Nigerian funds in the hands of the small
Carribean nation for protection.
Akpabio has denied the
report according to his commissioner of information, Aniekan Umanah.
na dem no which corner of d world to hide money, dem sabi d place thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI won't even believe all these stories. Akpabio's detractors are at work, just because he's the best performing Governor in Nigeria. People are looking for all sort of ways to taint Governo Akpabio's image. We sometimes don't appreciate people who have worked. Tueh.
ReplyDeleteHaaaaaay! I see SaharaReporters are really going viral with their unfounded stories. Can they allow this Man rest. Akpabio has done nothing but work is butt off. Please I'd like y'all to visit Akwaibom and confirm what I'm saying. I used to doubt all the hype about Akpabio, but I went and saw with my eyes. No be only St. Kitts and Nevis na Nevada.
ReplyDelete@anonymous And olofofo like you and the writer can follow to know all d corners bah?
ReplyDeleteMr Akpabio is no way a man of such. He is such an incredible man known to all Nigerians. Coming here to tell us all this balderdash wont work. Let him finish his tenure in peace biko.
ReplyDeleteWe should stop talking about this. There are more important things to talk about in Nigeria. Insurgency! Akpabio is a man of virtue. He has transformed his state from grass to grace. He has always been there for his people. No u are trying to kick him down with false news. Fear God!
ReplyDeleteAkpabio for me is the best performing governor. All this slander won't change that fact. Leave this man alone and chase who haven't worked. This is my problem with the press, you guys would leave what is relevant and be chasing irrelevant things. Apparently, this lie is an example of such.
ReplyDeleted governor don wire heavy money for ur account, nice job. mi self go support any leader wi dey pay pase pase!!!!!! i no vex.
ReplyDeleteThis same bull-crap story that's been over the place. metechew!! what sane person would read that a reporter uses the basis of an unreplied tetx message as a means of confirming a story and take it seriously?. come on people, use your heads here.
ReplyDeleteThis stale story. i wish, i just wish there was a way to shut sahara reporters down honestly. the lies they tell these days are completely unacceptable and unforgivable. detractors are busy trying to tarnish the mans image. its as they say when you are an achiever, you will have enemies in abundance, such is life
ReplyDeleteIve read this story elsewhere, and i don buy it one single bit. its completely made up and holds no case. Akpabio is a man of integrity, and is by far probably the most focused Governor we have. where do these guys get their own information from anyway? they should change thier name from sahara reporters to empty-desert.com or rumormongers.com
