An American Next Top Model Contestant, Mirjana Puhar, 19, was found dead inside a home in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Tuesday night.
Two other bodies were also found at the scene.
Emmanuel Jesus Rangel, 19, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with three counts of murder.
Charlotte police said the incident appeared to be drug-related, and that the suspect knew all three victims.
Celebrity news website TMZ reported the murders occurred at the home of Puhar's boyfriend, whom she had only been dating a few months.
Puhar appeared on the 21st cycle of the TV show, which premiered in August.
She advanced to become one of the show's finalists before being voted out in the 10th episode.
The CW network, which airs the show, has not commented on Puhar's death.
