New audio tape release show
that Islamic State group has accepted the pledge of allegiance to the group proposed
by the Nigerian Boko Haram.
According to a purported
audiotape released on Thursday from its spokesman Mohammed al-Adnani they
confirmed they are expanding to West Africa.
In the message, Nigerian
group was illustrated in Arabic
It reads…………………………….
“We announce to you to the
good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa because the caliph…
has accepted the allegiance of our brothers of the Sunni group for preaching
and the jihad,”
This comes as US
intelligence official said there is no evidence of ISIS links in Nigeria calling
it mere propaganda.
