A surfacing whale smashed
into a tourist boat a woman on board was killed as a result; it happened off
the coast of Mexico.
Jennifer Carren was thrown
into the water off Cabo San Lucas, on the Baja California peninsula.
The boat’s captain and
another tourist jumped into the water to try to save the 35-year-old Canadian.

Ms Carren was taken to hospital
but was pronounced dead.
Two other tourists were
reportedly hurt but it was not immediately clear how serious their injuries
were.
The boat’s owner, Cabo
Aventura, said the whale jumped out of the water right in front of the vessel
and hit it on the side.
