Shots Fired At Li Wayne Attack After Performance

After Li Wayne’s performance at a nearby nightclub shots have been fired at two tour buses carrying hip hop star Lil Wayne and his entourage, according to reports.

There were no casualties in the attack carried out by unknown assailants in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper reported that police established two tour buses used by the A Milli rapper and his crew had been shot multiple times.

Officials said the two vehicles were carrying around a dozen passengers at the time of the shooting.
"Witnesses could only provide a limited description of the suspect vehicles," Cobb County Police spokeswoman Elizabeth Espy told the newspaper.

"They were described as two white vehicles, possibly a Corvette-style vehicle and an SUV."
It comes a month after a report of gunfire at the artist's home in Miami Beach, Florida, was revealed by police to have been a prank.

Real name Dwayne Carter, Lil Wayne has released 10 studio albums over his career spanning two decades and is one of the biggest names in hip hop music.

The 32-year-old began performing at the age of 11 in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was jailed for a year in 2010 after New York police found a gun on his tour bus three years earlier in Manhattan.
