Allege Wife Killer On Hunger Strike Since Detention

Lekan who is being detained for the murder of his wife at the State Criminal Investigation & Intelligence Department (SCIID) at Panti, Yaba, Lagos, has refused to eat since detention.

However, alleged wife killer Lekan Shonde, has gone on hunger strike since he turned himself in to the police on Monday May 9th.

Lekan allegedly beat his wife and mother of two, Ronke Shonde, to death at their home in Egbeda. Meanwhile the police yesterday conducted autopsy on late Ronke Shonde at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja. The result will be ready in two days.
