Kenyan team leader Stephen
Arap Soi says Anzrah was reported to authorities by doping control officers in
the athletes' village.
Another, which make it the
second Kenyan, track and field coach has been expelled from the Rio Olympics in
a doping scandal.
Kenyan officials say former
sprinter John Anzrah was sent home after he was found with the accreditation
badge of an athlete scheduled to go for a random doping test.
He had allegedly provided a
urine sample under the name of 800 metre runner Ferguson Rotich.
Rotich is due to compete in
the heats of the 800 metres on Friday.
Arap Soi says Anzrah was
kicked out because of "the crime he has committed against Team
Kenya".
Anzrah competed as a
sprinter at the 1987 World Indoors and IAAF Championships.
Kenyan track team manager
Michael Rotich was sent home earlier after being caught on tape by undercover
reporters.
He was allegedly asking for
bribes in exchange for helping athletes beat doping tests.
Rotich has denied the
accusations.
