Nigerian couple who traffic
girls from Edo State for prostitution, were arrested in Italy, Michael and Pamela
were arrested in Cagliari on Thursday for trafficking Nigerian women to Italy
where, after undergoing voodoo rites, they were forced into prostitution.
The Joint operation of
police team on Thursday, March 2, arrested a Nigerian couple, Michael Uyi
Aigieator,34, and Pamela Aigieator, 27, in Cagliari, Italy for trafficking
Nigerian women to Italy for prostitution.
According to Ansa English,
the couple would subject their victims to voodoo rites after which they were
forced into prostitution.
The victims of the couple
were freed by the police. They both aided and illegally traffic by using risky boats
to commute their victims to Europe.
