President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with the Nigerian Women Basketball team known as the D'Tigress for their victory over Argentina on Tuesday night, September 25.
The Nigerian team are currently campaigning at the 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Spain and they have qualified for the quarterfinal playoff.
They defeated Argentina 75-70 in their second game played on Tuesday night, and President Buhari is impressed with their performance.
President Buhari reacted to D'Tigress win over Argentina via his official twitter handle and made it clear that he is proud of the team.

The D'Tigress of Nigeria will face Greece in their next game on Wednesday, September 26 at the FIBA World Cup in Spain.
Nigerian female football star Asisat Oshoala met her country's President Muhammadu Buhari in China where they interacted and also gave a speech.
Asisat Oshoala who currently plays for Chinese side Dalian Quanjian F.C was at the Nigerian Embassy in Beijing where she told President Buhari about an event on Sports that will happen in December.
