A fuel tanker fell and
exploded at Ojo barracks Lagos, this morning due to the bad roads. Many cars
were razed in the inferno. This explosion comes few months after the one on
Otedola bridge where over 10 persons were burnt beyond recognition and over 50
cars were destroyed.

There have been recent
calls to the Federal and State governments on the state of the roads within
that axis and it is quite unfortunate that this sad incident happened as a
result of the bad roads.
Nigerians have also cried
out to the government on the danger constituted by the Oil tanker drivers on
the road. They are believed to occupied the major parts on the road, just just
a few meters for commuters to drive on.
A social media commentator
wrote:
That road is an eyesore,
Tankers are are packed on D road leaving us with nothing at all, I have not
been able to drive.
