Kylie Jenner Beats Mark Zukerberg To Become Youngest Billionaire Ever

Kylie Jenner has been named by Forbes magazine as the youngest self-made billionaire ever. She achieved this feat at just 21 years old.
The young reality TV star became a business mogul after she launched her cosmetic line which included lip sticks and lip liners in 2015.
Since its launch, her products were sold out online in a few minutes and her distribution deal with a beauty retailer, Ulta, also helped give her products a wider reach in their over 1000 outlets for customers who would prefer to see and feel the products before purchasing.

According to Forbes, Kylie is the youngest person to reach a 10 figure fortune at just 21 surpassing Mark Zukerberg who achieved the feat at 23.
In reaction to the new feather in her hat, Kylie revealed that the recognition feels good and it is a nice pat on her back. She said: “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future, but [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”

Forbes also revealed that Kylie’s growing empire consists only of seven full-time staff and five part-time staff while the manufacturing and packaging is outsourced to another company, Seed Beauty.

Interestingly, Kylie’s success only helps to further highlight the importance and strength of social media. Most of her marketing is done on her online platforms. The 21-year-old has a wide reach on her Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages and fans are alerted to new products on her page soon after its release.

Kylie said to Forbes: “It’s the power of social media. I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything.”

However, the title self-made billionaire has raised a number of criticisms on social media from people who feel she leveraged on her family’s popularity and fortune and that she is therefore not self-made.

Dictionary.com even tweeted the meaning of self-made in order to explain that her success did not come unaided.
Despite what her detractors say, this is a great achievement. Congrats to her.

Kylie's fortune might be growing beyond her expectations and she would most likely have celebrated the success with her loved ones including her publicised bestfriend, Jordyn Woods, if they had not fallen out recently.

Legit.ng previously reported that Jordyn was allegedly in an intimate and compromising situation with Kylie's older sister, Khloe Kardashian's man, Tristan Thompson.

Khloe and Tristan’s relationship has been trailed with several controversies. There have been reports that the basketballer who has been known to cheat on Khloe at different times might have finally done the worst.

It was gathered that Tristan was very cosy and intimate with Jordyn at a house party and that she even left the venue the next morning.


There have also been reports of Khloe finally calling it quits with Tristan after finding out about his philandering.
