The reason behind the clash
between Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku in the dressing room after Manchester
United’s win against Southampton has been revealed.
The game which ended 3-2 in
favour of United saw Lukaku scoring a brace. The Belgian also had the
opportunity to make it a hat-trick but was denied by Pogba who opted to take a
penalty given to United.
Pogba however lost the spot
kick to the displeasure of the Belgian which led to a confrontation between
them in the dressing room after the game.
Report say Lukaku reminded
the Frenchman of how he supported him during his struggle with former manager
Jose Mourinho and that he should have allowed him take the spot kick to
complete a hat-trick.
