Brazilian football legend Ronaldo de Lima has jokingly claimed that he may have to come out of retirement to help his Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid.
This comes after the ex Real Madrid and Barcelona star explained that he is tired of watching his team miss several penalties this season.
Ronaldo is said to be the majority owner of Valladolid, and he made his intention known while speaking with countryman Neymar in an interview with Otro App.
In their conversation, Paris-Saint-Germain star Neymar said there is a belief that “important penalties should be shot by the club’s president”.

And 42-year-old Ronaldo responded: “Don’t go there. I’m a club president now!
“We had five penalties this year. We missed them all at Valladolid. We missed them all. I’m almost getting on the pitch to try it myself.

“Penalties are awful. It’s such a big responsibility,'' the two-time World Cup winner explained.
Valladolid are currently occupying 16th position on the Spanish La Liga standings with 30 points after 29 games.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Brazilian legend Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima was sighted enjoying a summer vacation in a luxurious yacht with his partner Celina Locks off Spain’s island of Formentera after the Word Cup in Russia.

According to the report, the 42-year-old Ronaldo who was a nemesis to opposing defenders during his active days was also caught on camera taking a plunge off the boat.
