Mother Struck By Lighten Died In Lagos

The woman’s child was also struck by lighten ended up in the hospital.

A woman (name withheld) died after she was struck by lightning in the Idumota area of Lagos state.

Tony Ojukwu, the Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission, confirmed this on Monday.

He said the child was rushed to the hospital after he was “left to die” by the people in the community.

Ojukwu said: “The child who was struck by thunder has a sibling too. The mother of the child struck by thunder had died.

“The child is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.”
