Barbara Walters In Hospital After Party Fall

The veteran ABC newswoman Barbara Walters is being treated in hospital after falling at an inauguration party.
The 83-year-old fell on a step at the residence of Britain's ambassador to the United States, Peter Westmacott, in Washington, suffering a cut to her forehead.
Jeffrey Schneider, a spokesman for ABC News, said Walters had been taken to hospital for a full examination "out of an abundance of caution".
He said that Walters was alert and "telling everyone what to do" which, he said, was a "very positive sign".
It is unclear how long she will be in hospital for. (Wish her a rapid recovery)
