MITV Base concert re-unites Snoop, D'Banj

The first ever MTV Africa All Stars concert held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, People's Park, Durban South Africa has been described as "one to remember for music lovers." With top African DJ's, DJ Caise and DJ Cleo, also on ground, the concert featured top African acts that include 2Face, Dbanj, Fally Ipupa, Flavour, Zakes Bantwini, Professor, Zahara, Big Nuz and Camp Mulla. A statement from the organisers, however, indicates that rap star-turned reggae pop hit, Snoop Lion, gave fans present an unforgettable experience as he delivered performances from both his brands, Snoop Dogg and Snoop Lion. Starting with classic hits tracks like Snoop Doggy Dogg, P.I.M.P, California Love, I Wanna Love You, Snoop thrilled fans with a medley of chart toppers. But one of the highlights of the concert was the performance of Endowed remix with Nigerian pop superstar, Dbanj. "He later transformed from legendary rapper to cool reggae superstar as he sang songs from his ReIncarnation album," the statement adds.
