House Collapse Six-Year-old Trapped Under Debris

 A boy has been saved from beneath his house after it collapsed on top of him.

He was trapped between the roof of his clay house and a bed after torrential rainfall in the eastern Chinese township of Longquan caused the building to cave in.
Firefighters were initially unable to help the six-year-old because of the narrow space and heavy weight of the debris.

After a 30-minute struggle they were successful with the use of hydraulic pincers and a lifting jack.
The boy was sent to hospital for treatment after simple checks by aid workers at the site.
